I think it's time for me to get a spare ball

After the way I bowled tonight, I have decided that I should get a spare ball. I left 4 or 5 ten pins the the first game and only picked up one. When I used to have a spare ball when I threw lighter weight I was picking up probably around 8 or 9 out of every 10. I will probably get the new Black Widow Clear. I ended up shooting a 579 when I should have had a 620 if I picked up my ten pins.

ya when i started using my black widow i knew it was time to start throwing a spare ball when i left 10 pins.

Actually, my 14lb plastic spare ball was a Chicago Cubs ball.

No problem picking up 10 pin because I throw it really fast and stright;)

usually when i throw the ball right i get 10 in the pit, but every once in awhile i'll make a mistake and that's when i leave the 10. haha the black widow is such a forgiving ball to me :). no way though i could go for the 10 to convert with it however. too much hook. i can't throw it hard enough or loft it enough to get it there. i have been using my friends crystal clear diamond buzzsaw for my spares. i ordered the new black widow clear, so i won't have to worry about getting spares in a few weeks, using my friends ball!!

I don't need a spare ball because i can throw it fast and straight easy, but i am going to re-drill my blue pearl and use that so i can tame down the speed too.

If u do miss a lot of 10 pins then it would help if its over hooking. If ur just missing left and right than u could do without one.

Ok, let's say you average missing two 10 pins per game. Your average would be at around a 218 if you would pick those up.

I have started to use my spare ball for more spares and just the 6 and 10 pins. And those 6-7-10, 7-10 and Big 4. (Yet to pick up the last two, but close a couple times). Yes a spare is very important, never leave home without mine, even for practice. The question gets down to, what ball will I leave home.

Spare ball never leave home without it!!!
