When choosing tournaments to bowl, what is the most important factor when making a decision to enter or not?

Im gonna have to go location, because i can't drive myself, it can't be super far away because of gas prices these days unless i can pay for gas.

I voted for quality of the oganization. Theres a few tourney clubs out here in AZ but most are hdcp. The best one is called ABC Tournament club. Its somewhat new and very well run. And the format is very likable by many bowlers. The other one I bowl is the ACBA. It is also well run and professional. Named shirts, dress code, tough lane conditions and the best bowlers in Arizona. Including 2 current tour pros and half a dozen other ex tour and senior tour bowlers and a ton of staff bowlers.

It's really a little bit of all of the choices,but I went with #1 because until you've been stuck in a badly run tournament you don't know how much you need those people. The other choices I can work around,but a poorly run tournament is a living nightmare.

I try to make every tourney they put out there for me. It comes down to whom I'm bowling with or against really, but I still will attend unless my team is utter crap.

This is one of the many things that torques my ass about moving back to central boredom (AKA Iowa),,,,,, there just isn't shit for tournaments around here.... Used to be 21 years ago when I left, I can't find but 1 or 2 a year in the 10 years I've been back
