Looking to replace my jack hammer emerald pearl, can not find a new one. Would love any suggestions. Looking for a ball wiith a long slow hook like the jack hammer. I have tried the blue vibe, black widow pearl, and have a blade reactive and a faball nail ball on the way. The bowling alley i bowl at lanes are wearing down and a occasional nail is killing my current ball. Thanks for the advise.

Oh man I used to have one of these up until very recently. Great ball! You can find these for sale on Ebay sometimes, some of them still NIB.

But in the event there aren't any available anywhere, You could go with a Black Widow Solid and get it drilled for a smooth arcing hook.

I say find a PURE.

The Jack had alot more hook than a pure. It was a reactive ball.

Burgundy PURE was reactive.

If you like the reavtive, you could try the Anger. Mine is drilled to give me that long smooth arc. Or try the Gamebreaker(heavy oil only). Both give me what I want with that smooth hook. And if you work with it you can use the Anger in med to light oil.

Burgundy PURE was reactive.

I learned something new today. And since that's the case, I now agree. Anything else is going to react more than the Jack did EXCEPT for maybe the Anger, but it's a big hookin' ball.
