Make you wonder when score are posted like that, but there has been some discussion on the PBA forums about the patterns they are using. (Think it already been brought up here.)

What I got from that it, was why don't we (the PBA) have our own patterns, instead of this USBC/PBA patterns. Not sure that's correct, these patterns have been around for a while.

Just think these guys are getting better on these patterns and now several other good bowlers have been bowling on them for a few months.

I believe with the USBC testing the friction on synthetic surfaces there might be a change in the future of something or other. Whether it be heavier volume of oil or different patterns or both, who knows.

I don't know if the bowling centers would go for such a change. At one center that I used to bowl at, one of the owners was griping that we should all go back to plastic bowling balls with pancake weight blocks. :rolleyes: I doubt they would implement such a change - It's also the same center that treats league bowlers with contempt...

The last game I threw with my plastic ball (my Captain Fireball during cosmic bowling), I shot a 221, but the lanes were toast :eek:
