Ok guys, a few of you have asked so here they are. They are 23 1/2" tall 29 1/2" wide and 9 1/2" deep. They are small and strong enough to fit in a closet and hold 9 balls. As a standard, they are made out of select quality Pine and will be $50 each. I'm still working out the shipping details but it should be between $15-20. They will be shipped fully assembled as well. Some have asked for other woods. Which I can do that but the cost is much more and shipping weight is more. PM me if your interested.

Looks good... would you mind sharing the spec's with us?

Looks like you used 1 x 4's for all the construction.

How wide is the gap for the balls to rest? My guess is about 2.5"

The distance between the shelves looks to be about 12", is that about right?

Any tips you'd like to share, would be great. Trying to fingure out whether I'd like one that size or go 4 wide or even put 4 high. Even make the top a shelf for supply storage.

Overall dimensions are 29 1/2"w x 23 1/2"h x 9 1/2"d 1x4 construction gap between shelves is 8 1/2" at the supports and 2 1/5" where the ball sits.

Tips: Use quality lumber. Try to find stuff that isn't warped or twisted. going to be hard if you shop at Home Depot or Lowe's. Predrilling holes is helpful but you need a drill press or jig to make them square. If not, you could run into problems. It can easily be made wider and taller but I made it smaller so its easier to ship and get in closets. Plus I have made a couple already in Oak and the lumber is pricey

That looks awesome! But if I have the need for ball storage, I will also have a need for a divorce lawyer... :D One thing I would change though. make it a little taller and put a solid piece across the top so that you could place supplies on top like cleaners, extra towels, etc...

I'd hide the drywall screws too....good desisign but the exposed screw-heads looks tacky...but it is a closet deal... $50 for pine? hmm.....:)

Think he bought finish grade Pine... does look like a lot of the crap you see at Home Depot and Lowes... Have to be pretty picky there to get nice boards, like he said.

Well, the screws do sit about 1/8" below the surface. I didnt think $50 for A grade pine and my time to build isnt too bad. I guess I could use better lumber and be more diligent in the design, but I dont think people want to pay over $100 for something like that.

This Pine isnt too bad..

I think they look pretty good. Once I'm done Christmas shopping I might order one or two for myself. I need some kind of storage solution.

I bought the similarly designed 12 ball rack that ebonite had on the market a while back. I then had 5 balls crack while using it for my strke balls. Black Widow, Sharp Blade, Tomb Raider, Original Purple Vibe and Turbo Diesel all bit the dust. Kept indoors NOT in direct sunlight, the cause is a total mystery but now I only use the rack for my spare balls and an old school urethane ball, all others I keep in tote bags, etc. Anyone with any ideas as to why I had such a problem, please give me your 2 cents worth. very frustrating to lose almost $1000 worth of balls to something I don't understand completely.

Not always, but generally that happens with there is a sudden or drastic change in temperature and/or environment of the equipment.

Thought you kept them by a AC vent?
