It's always a great experience and fun tiumes when you bowl the Nationals. The condition is certainly to be a sport shot but what shot exacxtly is anyones guess right now. Keep checking the USBC site when the tournament approaches to find the pattern.

No matter what though it's a good time and a great experience

Here's 2007's info on conditions they used.
The following are the details regarding the lanes and conditioning:

Number of Lanes: 78
Surface: Brunswick Pro Lane
Pinsetters: Brunswick GS-92
Conditioner: Kegel Infinity
Cleaner: Kegel Defense-C @ 4:1 ratio
Lane Machine: Kegel Kustodian Ion and Kegel Kustodian Walker
Lanes are conditioned three times per day. The 7 am doubles/singles shift has fresh oil as well as both team events. Lanes are stripped clean each time the lane machine runs a lane. Both lane machines use a transfer brush system instead of a transfer roller with smoothing pads to apply conditioner to the buffer brush. Numbers from this event’s program sheet placed in a Sanction Technology transfer roller machine will play extremely different than the tournament’s brush system machines.

Length of pattern: 40 feet

See graphs for overhead view on conditioning patterns and volume of oil.

Note: Kegel Kustodian Ions and Kegel Kustodian Walkers condition using a transfer brush system.

Transfer roller machines will need adjustments to the program numbers to simulate this pattern.

Note: The 2007 USBC Open Championships pattern is using 50 micro liter load streams. Many machines in the field may have conditioner pumps set at 40 micro liters per board.
