well, I guess you can say I'm in a slump. 490 with the BWP. I think I'll have to take the polish off, or else I'm in trouble. P.S. I shot 717 a week before the 490, man that sucks. Any advice will help.

my best advice is to just shrug it off. I've had bad nights like that. One week i'll shoot a 630, then the next week barely shoot a 400 series. If you feel that its necessary, try to get some practice in, and pay attention to what you are doing and try to see if you are doing anything differently than you normally would.

Im guessing you shoot 3 games for your HS matches? Well im not sure how the lane conditions are for you, but for our matches the lanes a usually well oiled, so im confused as to why you would shoot the BWP instead of a BWS...

i shot a 300 series 3 times last year (all with a storm ball)
just chill out, different setting slightly from a normal league, just gotta relax.

Ouch...

Why does everyone bowl 3 games at HS matches except us....:mad:

ah...we did baker in the tournament at the end of last year


We wound up taking second...I was anchor, I had one frame all day where I didnt get a double in the tenth.
I struck out in the final match (to determine the winner) and we lost by 4 pins...the guy setting me up spun the 4 pin in place...it was unreal.

the BWP is newer than the BWS and its easier to hang on to b/c the BWS is always slippery.

haha i just did the same thing last nite....last week 690 3 game series...last nite 520...the house i bowl at seems to like to mess with the house shot quite a bit for some reason...last week i had the perfect line...this week anything outside the 3rd arrow just burned up and everything inside was a puddle...

^ My house is like that with changing patterns all the time, but i actually like it. It teaches me to play different conditions better. That way you don't just have 1 line that you play day in and day out.

They've been messing with our shot too, this past monday was more like a normal house shot, maybe with a foot or so more oil, then wednesday you could easily tell that the pattern was a good 5 or 6 feet more, as nothing came back :rolleyes:

Yeah, I hurt my wrist pretty good the first match of the season, Coach was ready to kill me when i refused to be pulled..:D
