Well guys, tonight was the first consistant pocket night I have had with my BWS. I currently roll a 159 Avg. and I rolled a 174, 170, 202. It is on our never-the-same house shot.

Enough of that, I am a lefty that stands on the far right dot and throws it over the #2 arrow. I get a TON of revs and my speed is around 14-15mph. Before tonight I haven't been able to keep it on the left side of the lanes.

I was thinking of getting a BWP and having it drilled weak, but from what I have read the BWP is a more aggressive ball. I was also thinking of a Toxic drilled a little weaker than the BWS, but from what I have read the Toxic may be too much for me as well.

I despirately want to stay in the Hammer line, but I am running out of options, HELP ME!!

How about a Blue Vibe?

How about a Blue Vibe?

I have been thinking about either a BV or a Doom. I just don't know which one to purchase.

The BWP is less aggressive if you keep box finish.

Given the choices, if you have lots of revs, I would think that you need something smooth, so go with a Blue Vibe or drill the Doom smooth.

How about instead of playing so far outside on the lane, move your feet right a couple of boards and play deeper inside where the oil usually is. Just makes more sense then going out to get a new ball, if you have a lot of revs, playing off 10 is not exactly where you want to be, you need to cover more boards and play the oil.

I would love to do that, but if I move more right (I'm a lefty) I'd end up in the ball return and my ball doesn't flare AT ALL. I see all of these balls flare out and snap back and when I try to do that it goes straight up the center arrow and flys off the lane before it even comes close to the pins.

We mean try moving your target right and play place the ball down in the oil. You're revs should carry it out into the dry which results in the ball reaction back to the pocket. This "swing" shot may prove to be a more viable option and keep you off the head pin or crossing over. 10 years ago, I used to be very similar and would always play the outside. Once I tried moving inside a bit (I am not a cranker) and got comfortable, heck...today I have a difficult time playing outside. :o

Some bowlers prefer the outside line, then like others I would say the Doom or Cherry Vibe. Just have your local pro shop operator watch you bowl so he can match a layout to your line. An aggressively laid out Doom/Vibe may still over react and defeat the purpose. I think the BWP may be too much ball especially as the lanes break down.

Best of luck, please keep us posted on which ball you choose and the results.

Good luck.
