I haven't posted in a long time but some might remember me on here some during the summer when i bought my toxic. Now i just purchased an anger to use on heavy oil. The house shot that this alley puts out for leagues is 43 ft long and very heavy. I can't get anything I own to make any break to the pocket. On the drill instructions for the anger on this website, it says to drill about 3.5-4 inches from pap for heavy oil. Do you guys think this is a good layout for heavy oil? My ball speed is around 15 and i have medium to high revs. Any input would be appreciated, i'm not getting the ball drilled until tuesday.

This layout will be good for the type of condition you bowl on and your style of bowling. I have mine drilled the Length with agressive back end layout but I have alot of revs and I can get the ball to move in heavy oil conditions. You will love the reaction on this ball. When you get it drilled and throw it, let us know how you like it and how it reacted. ZWelcome back to the message board

This is the most under rated ball I have seen. It out hooks anything Hammer has right now. Believe me you will be amazed at the reaction on the ball

I'd buy it. You have to play a totally different line than the NM and NMB though.
The closest comparison in ball motion would be prolly the NM to the Anger, and the Anger is rollier and you have to play deeper.
I've found myself using 20 on some fresh THS around here.

I can't see any style being disappointed in the ball. I'm a med rev, med to higher speed player and I love this ball. It is the best ball I've drilled in 5 years.
Mine is 3 3/8 from my axis, with the cg stacked. I put an x hole on my pap, pitched 1/2 away from my center of grip. I have yet to see any kind of burn, just continuation. It is super strong at 2000, I can't imagine how strong it would be with more surface.

I finally got my anger drilled up and I went with the recommended heavy oil layout. I threw one game with it on a medium shot and it really had some nice snap off the dry boards. Tomorrow is the big test, can't wait to see how its going to work on these flood conditions.
