How often do you switch balls?

Depending on changing lane conditions. There are alot of nights when I use the same ball for all 3 games. Just adjust a board or two. If the lane changes drasticly I will change from my strike ball I first used that night to two other if there is a lot of lane transition.

yea i can usually stay with my first ball for all 3 games unless the fronts dry up really quick then ill change....

it depends how many lefties I have bowling on the pair and how fast they break down. Some nights I dont have to change balls and I just have to follow the oil in, other nights I change balls two or 3 times. Just depends on how quick they change.

For high school i don't change balls too much because basically i can only bring 2. Regular league it really depends on if im bowling with a team of plastic, or a team with reactives, if its plastic i usually dont switch, if its reactive, then i will probably switch in game 2 if im having trouble.

Actually I usually go from my BW to my BWP and that works.

I usually dont switch because i play the lanes deeper than almost everyone in my league so my line generally stays untouched.

I rarely change balls,,,,, I have 1 Widow drilled for 1 house and another Widow drilled for a different house that I bowl in (shoot the same line in each, just DIFFERENT reactions)..... That said, I just adjust my starting position on the approach as the lanes change, not many people go down & in from 5,,, so my line changes very little

Depends on how many people are using my line. Sometimes none,sometimes I'll go thru all six of them. It's whatever the lane wants,not me.

That does make for good practice, using a different strike ball each frame. Improves the mental game a lot.

I'm the opposite (OLD school), I look for the DRYER part of the lanes ( my ball wastes no time getting down the lane),,, since I throw a straighter shot
