I'm getting a 14lb Hammer saw blade tomorrow. I was just wondering if you guys had any solid opinions on the ball. Is this a decent ball? I'm Trading a 16lb Tropical storm NIB for a used Hammer saw blade. Because I am having trouble getting rid of the Tropical Storm. I just was hoping that I'd be getting a ball that would be worth plugging and re-drilling. I currently have a toxic and am absolutely in love with it. Will this be similar to it? or is it a totally different ball? I know nothing about the hammer saw blade, other than it's an older by at least 2 years ball. Any comments would be nice Thanks in advance.

i do believe you have came to the right place..
Dr Blade here...
i have owned 2 saw blades... 1 stacked leverage and 1 skid/flip
they are pearl particle with the cut thoart coverstock..
depending how u get them drilled... but both of my saw blades were very verstile, hard hitting and good hooking power...
the toxic and the saw blade shouldnt be nothing like each other... ive had both(seriously dis liked the toxic)....
if u want any more info.. just pm me the questions

I picked up a used Saw Blade around two months ago. I've not used it much but I've liked it when I have. Looks good too. There's a pic of it on this site somewhere. I'm happy with mine - good buy I reckon.

Got to throw the Saw Blade and the Real Deal, both the those balls had the same coverstock... the Deal was slightly stronger, but both balls hit very hard. I ended up getting the Big Deal and High Rev a couple of months later, personally I would have been better off with either Saw Blade or Real Deal.
The Saw Blade is a solid ball, with out a doubt, give it a good hot water bath to rid the ball of oil, since it should be resurfaced with the plug. Believe the factory surface was 1000 Abralon and Polished.

Maybe re-read that post...:D
The Saw Blade is a SOLID ball... easy to confuse... you are right it's a particle ball. The shelf Talker does not say Pearl, but it looked Pearl.

I thought it was a pearl.
