Not really an expert but.
We need to know.

What kind of conditons you bowl on.
How many revs you have.
What speed do you usually throw.
And what do you want this ball to do.
these are just some of the basic questions to give us a better idea of what you will need.

i am right handed
i had a turbo urethane for 21 years
i stand all the way back in the middle of lane ,but, slightly to the left
i throw medium-fast ball,depnding on oil
i throw ball to the right(2-3 arrow) i am definitly more of a "feel" bowler than looking for arrows
hooks at back end, about 3/45 down alley
not sure about revs
30 years expierience
191 average last league i was in 4 years ago
i avg 5-6 strikes per game bare minimum and would like to take it to the next level
i like the dull finished balls

What bowling balls have caught your eye?

From Hammer is looks like you have a good selection, for dull right now.
Anger, Black Widow, No Mercy, No Mercy Beat'n, if you can wait the Black Widow Bite...

Then alot of us think the Black Pearl really wakes up when you dull the ball, to around 1000 Abralon.

How would you describe the lane conditions? Any of these ball mentioned are gonna be more aggressive, then you old ball.

if you are on medium conditions...go black widow pearl...and it to 1000 if you want to dull it....anger.nmb..are too strog for medium-dry...or you could look into the Vibe series...but if you go league they will lay down oil for you guys to bowl on...Id say Black Widow Pearl and dull it

O.K. for medium-dry lane conditions, I would either go with a Black Widow Pearl at oob. Or a Cherry vibe. As for ball weight its whatever feels more comfortable for you. Not that many people use 16lb stuff anymore but a lot still do.

My proshop does not even stock 16# anymore.

Personally, I'd get a Black Widow Solid or get a Anger and Polish it...

The Anger polished should be very angular, IMO. Has anyone tried this?
