View Full Version : black widow surface adjustments...
right now my black widow is at 4000 with plenty of polish. it seems to work on anything from heavy to heavy/medium. but the big thing is it is very touchy. it seems that it gets through the heads very well but i never know exactly what its going to do in the backend. usually it will just grab the dry and go right through the headpin no matter what line i play (unless its really oily). lately i haven't had time to play with the surface lately so does anyone have any suggests for something to try to get a little more control?

I see the same thing with my BWP. Gunna de polish it and maybe it'll react smoother, not as squirty.
sounds like a plan, ill try it out.

Definitely take off the polish. Even at 4000 and no polish it will still make a hard move off the spot. But because there is no polish, it will read sooner and smooth out a bit.
gotcha, that makes sense... i used to have it at 1000 and it always worked well. but then it died b/c i never cleaned it once in probably 75+ games. so i played with the surface alot while trying to revive it (before i learned about hot water and dawn). now it hooks like new and i haven't had time to dial it in again...
