Pink/Purple Nova (Regency 300?)

Was just curious if anyone could confirm that my pink/purple Regency 300 is a blemish Purple Nova?

(Not sure if there was a standard name the blemishes went by back then)

Ebonite made a ball called the Regency in '93, the nova and nova pearl came out in early '96, obviously hammer and ebonite didn't have a relationship back then, so my GUESS is that they are unrelated. I have never seen or heard of a regency 300, only columbia 300. I wish I had more info on it for you.

If I remember correctly, the Regency 300 line of equipment was made by Columbia and sold in K-marts.

And Hammer seconds were marketed by Hammer but there was an 'S' stamped on the ball. I beleive it was stamped in the Hammer bullseye with the CG mark (not for sure).

But, If you have a Regency 300, it will not be a Hammer.

there was a regency 300 line made by ebonite way back in the day, around the time of the lady ebonite or so. there is a gal on one of my mixed leagues that is throwing a blue one.

I wish I could remember, but the Pro who I bought it from said that the regencies were blemishes of something. (I just can't remember of what)

The reason I ask is that I've been looking for a new ball and I love how this one rolls and hooks. It's just getting a bit old and it's just that time.

Ohh well, I just got a Black Widow and will be picking it up and throwing for League night Thursday.
