top weight & pin placement????

do you usually ask for a specific top weight and pin placement when you are choosing balls??? What are those and how can I know which it's better for my game???? :confused:

talk with who is drilling your ball. Top weight, I have always gone with 2-3oz which is most common I believe. Pin length will be different based on what sort of layout you are looking for.
