I'm having reaction problems too!!!

the problem I'm having is when throwing from about the 10th board down and in.My BW overreacts I'm on the Brooklyn side almost every time!!! But what's even more strange.If i go deep to the 30th or 35th board I can get back out to about the 12th board and hit the right hand pocket!!!(I'm RIGHT Handed)
Does this sound like a release problem ???? Or do I need to get the ball pollished???? My ball has the pin in the middle of the fingers (just above the fingers) I know you guys really can't tell without seeing me bowl but anything you guys have will be helpfull. thanks

I really don't understand. You're right handed...you stand to the right and the ball goes brooklyn. You, typically, move left and it hits the pocket. That's what is SUPPOSED to happen. What's the problem?

Seems like he already figured out the problem himself. Right handed, ball is over reacting and going brooklyn, he moved over to the left and threw it out more and its hitting the pocket. You seemed to answer your own problem buddy.

It sounds like he doesn't want to move out of his "Comfort Zone" and get in deep.

If you want to continue to play up the boards, drill a weaker ball with a weak drilling.

well if you dont like playing that deep then I would try polish, little by little though. You never know though with polish the ball may go too long before reacting and then you have a double edged sword.

I'd suggest throwing harder and fast if the ball is over reacting. Polishing it would delay the hook a little though so try the more aggressive throw an if that doesn't work try some polish.

thanks for the help gonna try throwing it harder first.Although playing deep is fun the ball makes me look like i have a big hook:rolleyes: thx again guys
