I just got a Black Widow in and I am going to punch it soon. I want the ball to hook as early and flare as much as possible. Is the "strong" drill good for this type of recation?

STRONG LAYOUT
4” Pin with 75 Mass Bias
Ball Motion: Maximum hook potential
Best Condition: Longer patterns, oil carrydown, low to medium
rev rate players and faster ball speeds
Flare Potential: High
Pin Placement: 4” from the bowlers PAP
Mass Bias Placement: To the right og the Grip Centerline, below and to the right of the thumbhole
Balance Hole: If needed, place balance hole 4” from center of span on a line through the center of gravity

Is this the best drilling for the reaction I want? Thanks for the input, any information will be very helpful. Thanks.

Does ANYONE know anything about this drill? I'll be drilling it today or tomorrow...I figured you hammerheads knew what to do. :(

there was a couple people in here that got that drill and I dont think they were to happy with the preformance. From what I remember I trhink it was more of an arcing hook and they were looking for more skid/flip action. Don't quote me on this but I am like 90% sure about this. I have a Widow and have a skid/flip drill and love the ball. That is all I can tell you regarding the strong drill set-up,sorry

I have that type of drilling on mine and let me tell you that is too strong for me, I have to throw it faster than the other balls I have and it only works on the first two games of my league on monday, that league has a 40 feet long oil pattern, after the second game I can't maintain the ball on the right side of the lane, even if I'm standing on the 30-35 board. I think the skid/flip drilling would be better for me. Give it a try with any of those and tell me how it worked. ;)
