You need to play a different line with the BWP, obviously. Move to the right, play alittle straighter, or change your mark. If you're swinging the ball too wide and it ends up in the channel why would you keep trying the same thing over and over?

Exactly, why would you? I know if something aint working right, before I pick up a different ball, I always change my line and speed. And if that doesnt work I will change balls.

That right there tells you the BWP is skidding more in the oil.

A number of board members have theirs surfaced to 2000 for more oily conditions.
I keep mine oob for drier conditions and it's drilled to go long.

As for me, I use mine at 2000. I found it way to unpredictable at oob

If your BWP was OOB finsih , the oil pattern was alittle to heavy for the BWP to react. Adusting ths surface would have made a big difference in the reaction. Next time you roll on the same consition take the BWP down to 1000 or 2000 abralon and you will find it make the BWP react like a totaly different ball.

Take the BWP down to 2000 Abralon or 1000 Abralon and you will see more traction through the oil.

I agree with the others take it down to 2000 abralon, if that isnt enough try 1000, and if the 2000 overreacts then polish it and it should work fine.

Well its all about what you want this ball to do. You cant have it be a dry lane and a heavy oil ball at the same time. If you want to go to it when your wildcat is too much then leave it like it is. If you want it to do as much as your wildcat then take the surface off. But you cant have it both ways.

ok how about this fresh oil BWP breaks down get the WC so take it too 2000 polish? and more i think about it i played on lane #1 and that lane is always broke down cuz they dont put fresh oil out so why would the BWP slide off?

If the BWP is not hooking then there is carry down. This ball is desiged to go long through the oil then flip in the dry. If there is no dry then no flip.

yea, but do not polish it right away. sand down to 2000 then try it, and only polish it if it's hooking too much for you're liking. if it's still not hooking enough at 2000, sand it down to 1000.
and if it's still not working out for you. sell to me please :D

Go for 2000 dull to start off. That would be easiest.
