raven, Good luck in your tournament. Is it singles, doubles, or team ?

Raven, just go out and treat it like a regular league night, try not to get too overexcited or nervous, just stay calm and dont worry about what everyone else is doing just go out and play your game and you'll do fine. Good Luck.

Just singles. I think it is a good starter as it is close by and really low pressure.

Yep. I agree with Idle. Treat it like a league night. Do not get caught up with what's going on around you for this will distract you from your game. When you first arrive take a lkook around and see where everyone is playing before your squad and judge n what equipment you might uses. Keep a lever head / DO NOT get frustrated / and have fun also.

There are still a lot of handicap tournaments out there, here is just one link I know of that lists a lot of tournaments both scratch and handicap.

Well finished 15th with a 644.
It really felt like I bowled a lot worse than that. 1st place was 774. I just really had a hard time getting comfortable in my grips(for the past several weeks). It's also strange having complete strangers wanting to touch me all the time(high fives):D

High fives in a singles tournament??? I'll give you a "Good Shot",but a High Five??? No way. First off,I'm busy rolling my own game, second, you might hurt your bowling hand. Next time, just smile.
