Hey, to any Youth bowlers in WNY, here are a couple links and some info you may be interested in...

Youth Bowlers Tour

When: Usually every other week or so (Sch. on website)

Price: $50/Tour for non-members, $25 Tour for members, $50 for membership fee, or pay the non member fee twice (2 Tours) and automatically become a member.

Format: 3 Divisions (Hand., Scratch, Classic), 4 Games of qualifying moving 5 pairs to the right after each game, cut to the top 16 for match play eliminations.

Scholarship money awarded to top 5 places in each division.

Junior Bowlers Tour

When: About once a month, possibly twice (Sch. on website)

Price: $22 a Tournament

Format: 2 Divisions (Hand. and Scratch), 4 Games of qualifying, cut to top half in each div., 3 more games of qualifying, then cut to top 5 for stepladder finals.

Scholarship money awarded to top 5 places in each division.

wow you guys have a lot of good things going up there. I wish we had some youth tours and tournaments like that around here if we did I might still be bowling youth instead of mens. The whole reason I did that is because there is no competition with the youth around here.

Heh, why dont you take a look at some of the averages and games being put up at those YBTs...sometimes its a little too competitive :p
