Brian Graham, former Director of College Bowling USA, is returning to the United States Bowling Congress where he will serve as Director of Youth Development.

Graham, 34, who oversaw College Bowling USA (now known as USBC Collegiate) for three seasons beginning in 2001, returns to USBC after serving as Brand Manager for Hammer Bowling since March 2004. He will begin his new position Jan. 28.

"I'm really looking forward to returning to USBC Headquarters," said Graham, who won team and singles gold medals at the 1997 American Zone Championships with Team USA and has been a league bowler since age 5. "I had a great experience working with the collegiate program, and it was something I missed. I'm looking forward to the challenge of growing bowling at the youth level and having a positive impact in the bowling industry."

Graham's duties in his newly created position will include implementing and leading new youth development programs and enhancing current programs as well as maintaining relationships with the Bowling Proprietors Association of America, community groups, the Professional Bowlers Association and other external entities.

"Thanks to his extensive experience in many different levels of bowling, we are thrilled to bring Brian back," said USBC Chief Operating Officer Kevin Dornberger. "He was critical to the exceptional growth of Hammer Bowling in recent years, and we are confident he will bring the same type of growth to our youth programs."

A two-time All-American at the University of Nebraska, Graham helped lead the Cornhuskers to a national runner-up finish and won the Association of College Unions-International men's all-events title in 1994. He also was a two-time National Junior College Athletic Association All-American at Vincennes University.

Prior to directing College Bowling USA, Graham served as the Eastern Account/Brand Manager for Columbia 300 and as Marketing Coordinator for Turbo 2-N-1 Grips.

Graham holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on marketing from the University of Nebraska, along with an associate's degree in Business Administration from Vincennes University.

Just what this sport needs. Hopefully he can revive the sport thru the youth since a majority of the "old school" fellas seem to be complacent.
