I have a BWBite drilled for skid/flip....boy does it ever. I like the total amount of hook I'm getting but seems a little uncontrollable on the conditions I typically bowl on. Med to med-heavy oil...sometimes wet/dry
What can i do with the layout, surface, weight hole to keep the same amount of hook but smooth it out just a little? I still want a late strong movement...but the #1 layout is a little much for me. I'm thinking try a different layout....SUGESSTIONS?
17 mph tweener / stroker
begin to add surface, start with 2000 abralon or gold scuff pad.

Redneck tha Blu by adding surface to the ball it will go into a little earilier roll . You could also try polishing the ball with an extender polish but this will give you more length and possible a more agreesive back end. I would suggest what slap advised and start adding some surface to the ball and see if it doesn't react as strong.

Thanks...I'll try that first and see if it doesn't smooth out. Its creating a little more angle than what I was looking for. I'll start with 2000 and see where it gets me before switching layouts.
Thanks for the help guys...I discovered this forum about a month ago and its been great.

Worked out just fine. Got my Pro Shop to get it to 2000 for me. Saw some difference. I think i'm just gonna watch what conditions that I choose to use the Bite.
I used the BWBite yesterday in a house tournament and bowled pretty good..above average. There was some serious carry down after a couple games, but I had no problems with this ball when others I shared the lanes with were serious struggling. Just put 'er out there from 14 to 4 or 5 and she comes right back.... FYI- finished 13 of 40+...just outta the money!
