Threw my new bwb Last night and the only thing stopping me from my 300 and 800 was my own stupidity, first game out 222 then i go first 9 in second game rushed line and not enough fingers in ball and left 7 pin picked up struck 279 then came back 268 again my own fault. I love this ball it is all that and more. GREAT JOB HAMMER:D

Welcome to the message boards abowlingfreak2u. The reports comming in on this ball are looking great. Nice bowling . hammer has been doing some very good matching coverstocks to cores lately and comming up with combinations that are tough to beat.

I'm glad to hear the positive review. I'm picking up my Bite tomorrow, and I can't wait to get it on the lanes. Question: What were the lanes like when you threw it ? My league house has been really oily lately, and I'm very curious to see how the Bite performs there.

lanes were freshly oiled about 3/4 down last night 1-15-08 225/280/215 last game switched to bwp the bite was to aggressive when got dry in third game had a couple splits still 2 sets 769 720 not bad

Great shooting bud! I feel your pain. I had the front 8 right out of the box, but our THS wasn't playing very heavy/long that night, and it was time to put it away.

I can't say enough good things about this ball. Excellent compliment to the BW Solid for a 1-2 punch.

I picked up my Bite yesterday, and threw one game, just to see what it would do. OMG... I love this ball. I've only been bowling 2 years, and I don't have a very high average - only 140, but my first game with this ball was a 162, without even trying. I was playing from everywhere on the approach and trying every possible line, just to experiment, and no matter where I put it, this ball HOOKS ! The guy who drilled my BWS apparently gave me a very generic drilling pattern, according to the guy who did my Bite. I thought it was all my fault that I couldn't hook the ball. He showed me the differences, and this time, he drilled for a smooth arc, with an aggressive back end, and I totally love it. The Bite rockets into the pocket, and hits hard ! I was bowling with a 12 lb ball before, and this time went to 13 to get more hit, which works very well for me. I'm obviously not bowling at the level a lot of you are, but the feel of this ball tells me I'm about to start hitting some much better numbers. Don't ya love that sound when the pins just explode ? :D
