The series: Black Widow v.s Fury

Both are popular series, both have had the best selling ball, and both have 3 of them in the series.

Although I have not thrown anything other than the BW series lately, there are some here on the forums who have and could give some honest insight and comparisons between the two.

I've been hearing the debates before league starts and afterwards for that matter from quite a few people who claim that the fury series has more control as well as better colors than the black widow series, as well as a more managible hook.

I'd like to hear your opinions on this.

All my bowling career I had been a hammer user. I decided that i needed to go out and try something different. went out and bought Fury solid,pearl and Twisted fury. Although I have never used a bite I can throw in my two cents.

Fury solid is a great heavy oil ball. It rolls early and hits like a truck. Compare this to a black widow solid and the widow goes a little longer down the lane. I find the Fury a bit more predictable at the break point.

Fury pearl- now this is a pearlized ball but its at a dull 4000 out of the box. no polish. You can still use this ball on some heavier patterns. so, i dont really compar this to the widow pearl because of the fury pearls dull surface.

Twisted Fury- this ball is AWESOME! its 400 with polish and just flat out amazing. I could compare this ball to the widow pearl but, they dont even compare. the widow pearl goes long and finishes strong with kind of a aggressive but rounded hook. Twisted fury gets down the lane and just flips over with an aggressive angle at the pocket and just drives thru the pins like a mac truck.

All in all I would say in my opinion the Fury series suits me better because the widow series just went a little too long down the lane. Who relly knows wether one is better than the other. This is all just my opinion.:cool:

I cannot understand why Brunswick would call this ball the Fury Pearl but yet it does not have a pearl finish on it. confusing....

They only difference is that the BWP is polished while the FP is sanded.

The Fury Pearl is Pearl ! I love mine. The Twisted is the best ball in the line if you ask me. This ball is so versatile. I can use it on heavy to light oil with the same drilling. Its a keeper for sure

I've heard and read good things about all three of them, but I don't see many of them being used either in the league I'm in or other leagues at the Orleans casino. Although I know one person in my league does have the fury, he uses it as the 2nd ball just not often.

Most Pearls balls are polished, because they sell better polished. But, there have been several Pearl Balls that have not been polished.

im just gonna say that a BWP that goes long make it dull it wont go long any more ;) what I did hehehe
