a young kid i bowl with, had a bit of a good day today

from http://www.soejunioropen.co.uk

"Sam Rose from Acocks Green Ybc has walked away with 4 tournament records (with help from his mates), after a suberb days bowling.

The day started with his Acocks Green team breaking the team handicap record which was set by Enfield in 2001, with Sam bowling 786.
He then broke the senior scratch doubles record with his partner, Max Lamond, bowling a 759 series.

He then finished his perfect day by breaking both the senior scratch and handicap all events records.

Not a bad days work by a young lad who was sent home from YBC yesterday after he felt unwell after 2 frames of bowling! Well done Sam! "

this was a Jnr team england ranking event played on a tough pattern

sam is only 15 and was bowling Hammer Black Widow solid and the towards the end a ebonite bash

he had games of 786 (241,268,277) in the Team event

759 (247,244,268) in the Doubles

627 (190,214,223) in the singles

i have to say sam is by far the best bowler i have ever seen for his age if he keeps progressing the way he is going to be a huge star in bowling

Wtg to Sam thats a great series, glad to see another young up and comer. I still havent heard of anyone that beat my 801 at 15. I tried looking it up in the record books but cant find anything. If anyone has info on the youngest 800 please share.

That is some Great bowling. Sam you did the youth bowlers proud. The youth is our future in this sport and with all the young talent out there it won't belong before you see some of the best bowlers in the world at a young age.
