I have a BW Bite and love it. I have ordered a BW clear as a spare ball.
Does anyone else have this ball or are all plastic spare balls pretty much the same ? :o
I realize I should have the same weight as my Bite and get it drilled the same way but as a plastic does it require any special treatment or cleaning ?
I am now diligently cleaning my Bite with some special over priced cleaner I bought at my local pro shop so I just want to err on the side of caution.

I have the clear, this ball goes extremely straight, does not move at all.

I have one too. Ball doesn't curve at all. I clean all of my balls with cleaner, even my Black Widow Clear.

I use widex on mine as its not a performance ball keeps it nice and hell of a lot cheaper then wasting your energizer cleaner, save that for the reactive stocks.

Has anyone tried a 1lb lighter ball for spares? I'm thinking it might increase accuracy.

Which "Special Overpriced Cleaner" are you using? Hopefully it's one that's compatible with the coverstock on that ball.

Its called Storm Xtra Clean-- 4 oz for 9 dollars. One of the pro-shop guys plays Hammer balls and he uses it. Have you heard of it ?

Mine doesn't hook at all. It is sitting on my entertainment center at home.

Junk. Try some PowerHouse Clean N Dull. Your Bite will thank you. Go online and buy the big bottle. It's cheaper that way. But keep the small bottle you have. Refill it from the big bottle and put it in your bag. Then you can clean the ball before you leave the lanes.

The perfect place for that "ball".

I think it might decrease accuracy as it will be easier to muscle the ball off line but YMMV

Window cleaner or rubbing alcohol will work fine to clean the BW Clear, don't waste the expensive stuff, unless you need too.

Just make sure you don't get any side weight drilled into the ball.

Finally saw the BW Clear. (Gonna leave it at that.)
