I think I'm gonna enter the singles handicap tournament for the week of 1/21 - 1/27.

Is this place really legit?

ya, i did it for this week for the first time. Shot under my average so i don't think i'm going to be getting anything. Here is a thread about it...

It's legit

basically, handicap is 100% of 230.....You bowl in your normal league and get a copy of your score sheet (signed by both captains)....Fax or email a copy of the score sheet in with your score posting once completed.....Please don't be like some of the jerks that wait until 5 minutes before deadline to post...

Once posted, VT staff will verify scores by contacting your league admin or they will verify against online posting (if your league posts to league secretary)

To add your league, you will simply give them the information off of a standings sheet regarding league name, secretary, etc. they will use this information for score verification.

NOTE: any posted scores that are in the money will be verified by VT staff.

After 9 games, you will establish a VT Tourney average which will be different than your league average. For the first 9 games VT will use your established league average.

At this time of year, you see a lot of people with 160 averages bowling 650 series though. They will bowl 3 weeks and then run once they get a VT average...

Crush, this site is totally legit. I won close to 800.00 last year. They even run a Virtual league, where you bowl against different teams. I also did that last year. Haven't really had the $$$ to do it this year. I don't really get into the HDCP tournies. I stick to the scratch tournies. I got tired of bowling 7 something and losing to a person who averages 170. They also have doubles. I have won a few times there also. Good Luck

i wonder how legit this could be, I HAVE yet to do it but i wonder how real some of the scores are?? someone could lie and work at the lanes and take a lot of our cash. not sure if i will try it but just wondered....

If you win cash, they call your league secretary, and then call the lanes. And yo have to fax in your standings and recap sheets. So its pretty hard to cheat...but i'm sure it could be done...

I bowl in VT about every other week, mainly in the scratch divisions. I shot 686 a few weeks ago and cashed about $150! The also do sidepots, brackets, and an eliminator!

Insince I don't really have anyplace to fax in that stuff. I have a scanner, copier, printer combo. Is there anyway to just scan the score sheet and league standings sheet, and then just email them in?

Well i did the singles handicap tourney for last week. Shot a 267, 209, 216. Finished with 804 handicap total and thats good enough for 12th place. Also won 2 brackets and i will cash some for the eliminator. Hope i get a good amount of money!!:D
