no mercy beatn vs black widow bite

hi as ive said before in another thread, im new here and im converting to hammer because storm dont have much to choose from in the heavy oil line

btw im not sure if this is the right place for this thread, if not then i do apolagize

i definatly want a black widow bite but was wondering it compared to a no mercy beat'n (not that i have either but i mite be swayed towards no mercy beat'n if people speak more highly of it)

Welcome to the board...

The Popular consensus is that the Anger OOB @ 2000 is THE heavy oil ball of the hammer line product line. Other balls with coverstock changes may compare favorably also.

I would not hesitate a second to drill a Bite for someone for heavy oil. I would just adjust the cover to about 2000 and try it there

Hi Mr. Kennedy> As for the comparison between the NMB'n and the Bite, I would suggest the BWB as the better Heavy oil ball between the two. The NMB'n is a great ball but the coverstocks and core are totally different. The NMB'n will be clean through the heads but strong on the back end.

The Bite will read the lane alittle earlier and it has a stronger back end than the NMB'n. What I have had noticed with the Bite is if you miss right of target, there is no worries about it comming back. If you pull inside in the reall heavy stuff, you get the Push and set up with a nice reaction in the pocket.

As for the Anger, it is another great heavy oil ball. Being a MidLine ball. for it's price before the bite came out The Anger hooked more than anything Hammer had on the market.

i wouldnt suggest the nmb as a heavy oil ball. i have one and it hooks about the same as my bws. but they play a very different line... as for the bite and anger, i am not sure, im trying to figure that out for myself.

thanks for the warm welcome guys, i am definatly going to get a bwb as i need something that will break alittle early

my recovery does it but with less the pin reaction which is why i dont like using it

I ended up buying two bites on monday. Who was telling me that would happen???
