Why did I ever stop throwing the Road Hawg?

Wow what a night Monday January 21st 2008. I was called out at the lanes by a friend who needed me to sub. I started out in practice throwing a purple jazz with which I drilled out specifically for that bowling alley. Usually dry lanes. Well apparently the owner of the bowling alley had informed me that they had changed the shot and the lanes had gone from dry to oily over the weekend. Wow what a difference I threw the 1st 2 frames with the jazz and went 10 pin / and 7 pin / then walked into the pro shop and saw my Road Hawg sitting there so I grabbed it and proceded to throw the next 25 strikes in a row before a 10 pin got me again. after picking up the 10 pin I realized I had my first 800 in sight and threw the next 6 in a row. for 279 300 265 and an 844 series.

I think that ball was way overlooked by many people. The few people that seemingly threw it and the hawg wild talk about how great they were. I think because the Hawg and Hawgzilla were advertised as the "biggest hook" in the Hawg series, the other two were often overlooked.

I too have been neglecting my road hawg. I actually got dangerous with it and did a whopping 1 1/2" pin distance from my PAP! I re-finished it to 1000 with my abralon pads, and it hooks like its trying to strike on the next lane!

I really like my Hawgs. My Hawgzilla is my first ball out of the bag right now. My Hawg is another great go to ball.
