I'll roll a Senior Regional when the PBA can justify the extra entry fee.

How about the fact that PBA Members have to pay dues. You don't think you should be able to enter a the same cost as a member do you?

The PBA is a membership organization . Non members are allowed to enter their events by paying a premium price. You want to pay the same price, Join the PBA!

Kind of like some tournaments charging $50 to enter if you enter before a certain date and then $75 to enter after that date.


I bowled probably 2-3 years as a non member paying the extra money before I joined. I didn't know if i wanted to give up bowling some of the local events that locked out members.

I actually think the Non member price should be a bit Higher say $300.00.

Heck I remember when the entry fee was like 165 and non members were paying 195. When they raised the members entry to 195 everyone said said we would lose non member entries because their entry went up proportionately. Hell we got more non member entries.

Actually,I was referring to the fact that it costs $200 for a Regional and $400 for a Senior event. I can't see paying double the fee just because I turned 50. I've never had a problem with charging non-members a higher fee to roll.

The 400 is for a Sr National event. Sr Regionals are still 200/275
