Well tomorrow for the Junior Gold qualifier we will be bowling on the scorpion pattern...now i cant quite remember this pattern too good, so im looking for advice on what i might want to try first as far as equipment and where to put the ball...

My equipment:

Bite
BWP
Hawg
Radar Lock
Hot Wire

I just had the pearl resurfaced and rejuv'd. The hawg was recently resurfaced as well, and the bite had a rejuvenation a week or so ago, so those few should react as if they were brand new...

Most have the 1 drill, with the exception of the Radar lock and BWP, not quite sure what they have....

I can easily adjust the speed of my shot, naturally its about 17 mph, and i have a med-high amount of revs..

Hope thats enough info to get a few good tips

Hawgs gonna be the best to start off with, since theres more oil downlane, u want a decently early rolling ball in the beginning. Also try playing straight as possible, u just probably can't be outside of 5.

Go to www.bowl.com (http://www.bowl.com) and look up the pattern. It'll have a nice color graph of the lane and what you can expect the oil to look like. Plus theres playing tips right there with the graph. Print it out and take it with you. Thats what Tink and I do. Works like a charm.

It kinda plays like the Cheetah pattern but it uses a lower volume of oil but its longer. Play as far right as you can and watch your speed. Outside of 5 is where you will find the most friction down lane
