I bowled a large amount of games this weekend and ended up tearing some skin off the right thumb. I bowl in a league this thursday and friday and in our city tournament this weekend. Anyone have any suggestions on treatments to help the skin grow back sooner or something that will be useful to get and apply to the area so that it does not impact my bowling game?

Please do not use super glue on open wounds. When I first went on the tour in 1986, that was the big thing to close splits on fingers and so forth. Until one of the guy's out there got deathly sick and almost died. The glue go into his system and that was it. Thank goodness he recoverd but it was a long road to recovery.
Use New Skin which can be found at local drug stores / Wal-Mart / KMart.
Also use some Ebonite protective tape over it to give some added protection while bowling.

Then... as soon as your tourneys are over, go get refitted. Something is wrong there. I can bowl all week with no rest and not get a blister

I got a friction blister/wear away of skin on my middle finger 4 games into my newly drilled ball today. I put some new-skin on it and it seemed to help a bit. It stings like a son-of-a though.
I then had the grip warn on the inside to make it a bit more roomy. I have never had thumb issues, even bowling 14 games in a single day.
