I'm glad he put that missed 10 pin issue behind him, and not only won but destroyed one of the best big game players today to get his first of the season.

I think his WIFE rolls a Hammer ? Maybe he should listen to her . I sure don't have any dislike for the guy .
Barnes put on a clinic today.

Barnes put on a clinic today.
Yeah, he sure did. I played that line on the Shark last summer and I threw a lot more of those balls like that one he threw and missed a board right that didn't even come close to the pocket.
Today's matches really showed how accurate you have to be on the Shark to find the pocket. My best games on Shark came from staying way inside but not as deep as Mika was playing.

I actually like Chris, I can't stand people who down talk him. They sure aren't as good as him :)
I've tried his bowling style before and it works pretty well, I'm just so used to throwing angles across the lanes that I can't seem to hit my mark when I throw straight.

I saw him bowl today on TV...he was pretty good! On the last ball he threw I could swear I saw a Hammer logo on it! Kind of looked like a BWP.

I'm pretty sure it was an Ebonite Angular One.

The only way that would happen is if he picked up one of tommy's balls off the rack which I doubt, it was probably a momentum or something (didnt see it).

So Chris was throwing a Resurgence and Momentum according to in the bag (http://www.pba.com/players/inthebag.asp).
As for my post about Linda Barns, I believe I heard it on the"Let's go Bowling" radio show. But cannot find any evidence on the Columbia web site to back it up. But she is not listed on the storm site.
But anyway it was awesome to see Chris dominate the competition on Sunday. Plus I had him and TJ in my Fantasy team so by the final match I was all good!

I think you're right. It was a Momentum. I just looked that ball up and the logo and color seem right. It could have been an Ebonite though because from what I understand is any bowler who bowls with Ebonite's smaller companies can use any of the related company's balls. I saw Patrick Allen using a BWB on TV a couple of weeks ago and he's an Ebonite staffer.

No PA is on no ones staff, he is a roamer but he has been using a lot of Ebonite and Hammer lately but he is not currently on anyones staff.

You're right, I just looked it up. I've seen him use so much Ebonite stuff, I thought he was on their staff.
Was I right about players being allowed to go outside of their line as long as it falls under the parent company? I know I heard that somewhere; probably on here.

Im not sure if you are or not, because I definately think we would see more people doing it if they were allowed to, mostly just see guys using what it says on their shirt.

It would depend on what the launguage in that bowlers contract with his ball company says. Some guys have to stay within that particular brand. Think a Hammer guy using only Hammers. Others can stay in the parent companies brands. Hammer guy using anything made by Ebonite. Other guys can use whatever they want,as long as they tried all the balls their sponsor makes. Hammer guy tries everything, nothing works. Grabs a Storm and uses that. Don't see this one anymore though. Then come the free agents like PA,who roll what they want, hoping to get a ball deal for next season.

I've been hearing great things about the Columbia Resurgence and a friend of mine just got one and bowled against my team last night. That ball is seriously strong and hits like a ton of bricks.
