I am having another finger issue, that I have always experienced from the time I got my first ball drilled. It is a pain in the end of my middle finger on both sides of the nail. It becomes very sensitive, if I squeeze the end of my finger inwards, I feel pain/discomfort.
Is this a common issue that just comes with the territory? Its happening to me now, however in the last 2 days I did bowl 14 games so I am thinking it may just be due to that, however if nobody else here experiences it then I will need to look into the issue.

Your hand shouldn't be in pain after bowling, even 14 games.
It sounds like either your finger insert is too small, or the span for your middle finger is too long.
Have you had your balls drilled by the same pro shop? If so, it may be a drilling error - take your ball back to them and tell them about your pain, they should be able to do something.

I am thinking maybe my inserts may be a bit small causing it to squeeze my finger. However, my finger slides in perfectly, to the first knuckle like it is supposed to without force. I don't want it to be too big of a hole.

Since the finger hole is fine, the span may be too long. Measure it against a ball that doesn't cause you any finger pain. You should NOT be in pain from bowling. That pain is telling you that something is very wrong. We don't "bowl through" things like that. One thought: is this the first ball you've owned that was fitted for you? If you've been used to using balls that have too small a span,a proper fitting ball will feel unnatural at first, causing you to "squeeze" the ball too hard. That will make your finger hurt.

I actually have 3 balls that have the exact same span on them. I was fitted for my first ball about a year ago. Then, a week and a half ago I got my BWS drilled, same sheet, I just told them the layout style I wanted, and then 2 days ago I got my EBL drilled, again same sheet as the original which is why I find it odd my original ball never caused a problem and now newly drilled balls are.
I think to test this, I will give myself a week to heal after league tonight, and just throw my EBL for 3 games, if I feel no discomfort, I will wait another week and then just throw my BWS for 3 games, and try to narrow the cause of the problem down to a single ball since when I did the 14 games, I was using the BWS and EBL.

That's nice. Now,MEASURE the ball. Measure everything, span between both fingers and the thumb, and the bridge. See if they're all the same.

is there a way to check pitch without a special device, like a little trick? Or no?

Not really. You should use a pitch gauge. Remember, you're measuring not only positive and negetive pitch, but side pitch too. Those all affect the span.

Ok, off to find a pro-shop to measure that.
