View Full Version : Bowled in a tournament yesterday

Bowled in a singles/doubles tournament yesterday. Shot 680 something for singles and then 580 something in doubles. Lanes broke down by the time the doubles games came around and I couldn't find my mark. I was the highest in singles though so far. There are still two weeks left. I'm hoping my 680 something will hold, but I'm not counting on it. I was 100 pins over average. I think the closest to me was somebody with 80 pins over average.

100 pins over average? Outstanding. Where ever you finish,you'll know it was with your best effort. Way to go,Crusher.

Thanks. I don't think it was my best effort. The shot was perfect for me. Heavy oil tournament pattern that broke down quickly. I should have easily had a 750, but I had a few mental mistakes. I wanna bowl in it again because I kinda feel like I let my doubles partner down by only shooting 588 for doubles and because I feel that I can bowl a whole lot better than I did. Problem is I don't have an extra $40 to spend, lmao.

Time for a "Going Out Of Business Sale"? Low,low prices,everything must go? Maybe start calling yourself,"Crazy Crusher,The Used Ball Whor....uh....Guy?" Maybe a commercial on YouTube? See if you can find the Dennys/WRW ad and cut into that.

Crusher congrats on the tournament. You gave it your best and even if you feel you didn't, you did what you had to do. Hope the 1st place holds which it just may.

Thanks! I hope it does too. I'm not getting my hopes up though. The USBC people took my picture. Not sure why but I'm hoping I'll find out soon.

After waiting for a couple weeks to see if I won, I ended up finishing 3rd. Not bad for my first time in this tournament.
