Bowled in a V-Day Scotch Doubles tourney yesterday.

Thanks to my girlfriends 110 average, we shot 544 and came out with a handicap 838. I then threw next squad with a woman who works at the house. We shot high scratch set, 624. High scratch game, 239. Handicap 813 for second place. Pays top 8 places, $800 prize fund... woot!

Our house averages 15 pins less then any other house in our association. The shot they put down is not an easy house shot. Its 37 feet of oil, buffed to 43 feet. Heavy volume. All of the "uppity" bowlers, who average in the 220's and 230's refuse to come bowl a league at our house, because they are afraid of averaging 20 pins worse. I have seen many bowlers in the 15's at other houses bowl with us, and increase their averages at other houses by 5-10 pins. It's nto an easy house :P Thanks a ton for the congratulations!

Alucious, I too bowl in Md.... Glen Burnie BowlAmerica. Where are u bowling at? I have heard that BowlAmerica has the heaviest oil around and am looking for more venues:cool:
