I need a new ball. Can anyone recommend a pro shop in this area whose prices are reasonable and knows what they're doing?

Thanks!

Hey there! I get all my stuff from Begin'rs to Pros over in stoneridge plaza, theres also one out at clover lanes, Ive never had a problem with anything i have gotten from there, and the prices are cheaper than what i have seen in other shops..

I also hear Joe Shulleks' Pinbusters Pro shop is good, but ive never bought anything there myself, so i cant speak for there. He has one over at AMF Gates and AMF Olympic..

And whatever you do, avoid going over to AMF Terrace. Dave over charges for a lot of things and he does NOT know what he is doing, ive taken a couple different balls up there before and gotten them back all chopped up to the point where i couldnt throw them :(

So yeah, id go with the first one. And no matter what you do, do NOT buy a ball online, no shop around here will drill it for less than $40-$50..Hope this helps

Steve - thanks for the info. Stoneridge is the closest, so that's probably the best place to start. Also good to know that I won't save any money by buying online.

Why do you say that? I bought my bwp online. If you know what your looking for you can buy a ball online.

Lets try reading the other part of that...the shops around here charge a rediculous amount to drill a ball, as they would rather you buy from them

Do you bowl on any leagues? If so, where at?
