Hey guys.
I'm hoping for some advice on cleaning my brand new Bite.
I've been bowling on my mother-in-law's league for about a year now and I just bought a Bite for the added hook over my previous ball (K-Mart special and Rotogrip Neptune).
Anyway, I'm trying to find the best way to clean it and keep up the maintenance.
As you can tell, I'm a rookie at bowling (127 average), but I think this ball is really going to work well for me. I bowled three games with it so far & I like what I'm seeing.
Anyway, what's the best way to clean? How often? Any other handy tips?
I appreciate any help you guys can give.

well for short term i would recomend powerhouse ball cleaner with a micro-fiber oil free towel, after every session you use it. long term i have heard of people givine there balls a bath as crazy as that sounds but my friend did it and it seemed to really work! I also heard that the storm cleaner is the best but have yet to try it!

Ebonite's Powerhouse Energizer Cleaner is what I use on all my bowling balls and it works very well.

For a BWB you would use PowerHouse Clean N Dull after every session of bowling. When the ball starts to drop off,(and it will),then you can search the threads about how to get the oil out of the ball. Hook Again,Hot Water bucket,Kitty Litter, they all work.

I've been using Energizer Power House after every session on all of my gear including my BWB. I've had some of my gear for over a year now. All of my balls look great for their age and still maintain their reaction. I have not yet had to resort to giving any of my balls a bath or anything other than using the cleaner every time I'm finished bowling.

I actually just cleaned my Toxic tonight with some of the Ebonite PowerHouse Energizer Ball Cleaner and the ball looks like new money, of course with the exception of the chipped/small indented spots. :D All in all I've had the ball (drilled that is) for about 10 days and I've put 24 games on it. Was lookin' real nasty with all kinds of crud on it (and I wipe the ball off several times a game, probably should wipe it off after every bowl but I'm not on a league or anything, just a recreational bowler) and the cleaner got all of it off and made it shine like new. I sat down on the kitchen floor with a towel laid out, laid the ball on it, sprayed the cleaner directly on the ball letting it set for about 30 seconds, wiped off with a micro fiber towel (got the 8pck from Wally World in the automotive section), and repeated since I did the ball in sections. Worked well for me.

Some people think it does more harm than good.

Looks like some good advice.
Thanks guys.
BTW - Bowled w/ it for the first time & every game was 20 pins higher than w/ previous ball. Can't be coincidence...
Thanks.

Definitely not. The ball surely does make a difference. I got a new EBL, and at league bowled on average 45 pins above my average, 2 days after I got the ball. Coincidence? Nope, if the equipment complements your style, your game will improve.
