So, week 1 of my associations tournament went pretty well.
Singles: Started out front 6, big 4, doubled and missed a wash out... 226, shoulda been better. Finished out 645. Turns out I have 156 pins of handicap. Handicap series of 801, second place.
Doubles: Very consistent set, two 230's and a 210 for 672, took first in doubles by 13 pins.
Team: One word. Wow. 576 pins of handicap for team. First game was 1076 scratch. Highest so far the first two days, though it was later beaten. Threw 678, team finished 3636, in lead by 210 pins. I doubt anyone will catch that one.
All-events: Handicap, 2463, in lead by 320 pins. God love the handicap.
Scratch: 1995, 8th place. Not bad for a bowler with a "162" average!
I was extremely pleased with how consistently I bowled all day. Threw BWB all night, except for one game. BWP for 184 in second game of singles, never threw under 210 with BWB.
