Lately I have been leaving the 8-10 split even when I hit the pocket. What is the cause of this?

I think the 8-10 is because of deflection, your balls just not driving enough (I think) Im not exactly sure but I think thats one of the reasons.

It could be the ball driving through a little too hard, hitting the 5 straight back, missing the 8, and then the 6 wrapping around the 10 pin. You might try a little more hand behind the ball. I've done that too

It's hard to tell unless we have a video...

Usualy the 8-10 is because of lack of angle to the pocket.

Your ball is either rolling out, or ur spinning it too much and its not rolling, or theres too much oil for ur ball and its not getting into a roll.

Too much headpin. Leaving any room at the line? If you're finishing short of the foul line, you can move up a few inches and that should do it. If not, move a couple of boards outside and see what that does. Those are my first two fixes for leaving the 8-10. As BigDog said, video would help here.

I think u might be referring to the 7-9, i've never seen an 8-10 left like that.

Well, you are all just avoiding the real fact here. Stay away from him, he has pissed off the bowling gods and thats his punishment !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep same here. You'll see some in one house I bowl in. I left an 8-10 on a high flush hit. Wasn't a pretty sight.
