Its bowled on a sport Shot patrern . I have been doing well for the first 2 weeks . WELL Tonight I could NOT throw a ball in the river if I had to . I missed the cut by a mile 161 was my best game 153 and 151 The cut was 694 . Just awful but hey it is not a THS it MUCH harder for me anyway .

I felt just awful when I left tonight I couldn't find the pocket all night and my ball was having a awful time trying to hook . I duno what kind a Sport Shot it was but it was damn HARD .

Well I guess I will go toss some on some burned up lanes tommow to give my ego a boost :D

Consider it a learning expierence. I would find out what the pattern was though. Then you can look it up on bowl.com and see what you can try next time you're faced with this pattern to score better.

These guys keep there paterns they use secret . May not be right but they do this to make it even more competative we had 4 x PBA bowlers thare Sunday night they finished 2 thru 5 . NO ONE knew the guy that won it . They lay the oil down right after the league is done befor the sweeper maybe 30 minutes befor we bowl ! The guy doing it won't talk he is told NOT TO

I think part of the problem was my bite is oiled up its going in the oven tommrow . It wasn't hooking much even today on lite oil lanes, I had to go to my BWS Sunday night and its never been as strong on HEAVY oil as the bite !! !! I been using the BWB in a flood of oil thou for 3 weeks of this Sweeper . and it has a LOT of med oil practice games on it like maybe 50 or more . So I kina after thinking about it got caught with my equipment NOT up to top condition A BIG no no . Ya gotta be prepared or it a cost you in a $$$ match .

I didn't feel to bad thou one a the better guys shot a 254 then a 157 on the next pair of lanes after the first switch :D The shot at this thing can be and well is brutal . It do seperate the men from the boys thou

Its so much fun thou I will keep droping my money in the pile every week

They have the five sport patterns,Shark,Viper etc. Nice color overlay on a pic of a lane to show how the shot is supposed to look. Plus some playing tips. Tink printed each one out on a seperate sheet of paper and stapled them together. We write notes on the back of each one to remind us of how we played that shot and what worked and when. Think of it like a PGA Tour players yardage book.

I know and can bet 50 dollars that my sport shots on my sport league are harder than those.

You're right, those are not the only sport shots. But those ARE the only ones you're supposed to see in a sanctioned sport league. Hell, our HOUSE shot is harder than most of those PBA patterns.

No thats only for the PBA experience leagues. They have regular sport leagues and IMO a lot better than the PBA experience leagues.

Well I started out last nights Sweeper 3/2/08 with 5 strikes and after that It was all crap. I was in the pocket all night but missed a few key spares ! AND that caused me to miss the cut line at 620 I had a 563 / 3 game series . Another tough shot laid down .

You might have missed the cut,but it seems you're getting closer every week. Keep after it.

Good bowling, did having the ball cleaned up help or just better bowling... maybe both?

I had my BWS and BWB baked last week and it seemed to help a LOT . Thou it was me more missing spares than the strikes ! . I agree I have been inproving but this is some dang hard shots there laying down . Nothing like THS .
The key to this sport shot IMHO is knowing how to move and make rapid changes and not get yourself stuck in 1 line and beat your head against a wall . Being willing to adjust is a MUST . I am perty sure I would a made the cut atleast IF I had adjusted sooner in the second game . live and learn
1st place this week was $800.00 2nd was $400.00 the pot depends on how many show each week :D .
