i stand on the last dot to the left. for some reason when im done sliding im more towards the middle/3rd dot, with my foot crooked to the right(like this /). when i try to make my foot stay straight i think too much and my mechanics gets outa wack. is there a way to make myself slide straight? lol

Just about everyone has a drift in their aproach. Let me ask you this. When you dirft to the middle dot and your slide foot is pointed to the right, does it affect you delivery? Is the delivery on target? If they don't and you are consistantly hitting yoiu target, I wouldn't think to much about it.

I agree with Bubba here, also if you play more of a swing shot rather than straight down and in this shouldnt affect you, but if your playing straight down and in, your going to probably keep missing wide right. I know I have this problem but for me its o.k. because I play a swing shot, but when I want to play straight up I close my stance up and straighted out my foot so I can be more consistent.

I have to agree as well. If your hitting your point of contact and your target, don't worry about it. Plus, if your playing a swing, you should be sliding parallel to your target line anyway.
Some coaches will say, as a general rule of thumb, if your foot is pointed to the right, that means you have "early" timing. Foot pointed to the left, means "late" timing.

my foot points the same way but i don't drift as much. as long as you feel balanced and like everyone else said consistently hitting your mark then you should be fine.

Not so, Grasshopper. I point my slide foot to the right just a little. It forces my weight up onto the slide leg. That keeps me from falling off the shot to the right, which makes me pull the ball to the left to compensate. It's the,"For every action theres and equal reaction" deal.

If you are refering to what I said about what some coaches say...
"For every action theres and equal reaction" Your foot pointing to the right of target line is a product of your body trying to maintain balance when the ball is too far behind you. The opposite for your foot pointing to the left, the ball is in front of you too soon. Not that I agree with that, but thats what alot of coaches will tell you.
