Had a chance to throw some of Brad Angelos stuff today. My buddy brought in about 5 cases of balls from the tour last week. He had a Sidewinder, Twisted, Total Inferno and Fury. His grip and pap is very close to mine except for the thumb is a bit big. So I could get a pretty good read from the equipment.
The Fury....Didnt like it. It kinda lopped down the lane and seamed to stuggle to make the corner. I think it had too much surface (500) and rolled too heavy. might be good for a slower speed lower rev player.
Twisted....Very nice ball. Very comparable to the BWP but stronger in the mid-lane.
Total ....Also very nice. Stronger than the Twisted but not as angular.
Sidwinder... So So. This is a particle ball and Ive never had much luck with particle stuff. But it was a bit stronger in the back than particle balls normally are. Pretty angular.
I have to say, the Big B stuff did hit really good. I think the most important part was how they read the lane. They all reved up pretty good (except the Fury) and was constantly wanting to read the lane without over reacting. If your one to try different brands, this is one that should be looked into. Specially if your speed dominant or strugle to get equipment to read the lane soon enough.
