awesome, I hope mine does that when I get it. How do you have it drilled, if you don't mind me asking

im not really knowlegdable when it comes to how a ball is drilled..PAP etc...i just havent learned any of it...ive had the same guy drilling my equipment for 3 years now....the pin is below my ring finger....just like my BWS...i asked him because i had read a post on here that the bite was gonna be 5-7 boards stronger than the BWS...and was curious if i should just have the same layout put on the bite...from what i can see its slightly different...i will try and post pictures of both on here for you...i practiced today just trying different things with the ball...and its a monster

I was almost going to retire my BWS because I own all three now with similar layouts. The BWS is more than a yr old, but my BWB and BWP are newly purchased this year. The Bite is awesome, so I'm going to try an experiment tonight. I took the BWS down to 1000 grit surface last night and added factory finish polish to see if we can get some new life and different reaction from it. I'll see the results tonight. Only times I have problems with the Bite is because of my error.... I tend to throw more of an end over end ball like Walter Ray sometimes so I'll burn up the Bite with my lack of ball speed. I have to make sure to increase my axis of rotation.

see i had very good reaction with my Bite last night with OOB finish, i liked how it hooked, one of my good buddies told me that i should have it polished so it will go a little deeper and then snap, i dont think i want to do that cuz i want to throw some games with it before altering it, on the other hand, my BWS is also over a year old and has probably 100+ games on it. I have never done anything with it, i mean i clean them before i bowl every session, but never altered the coverstock. So if you could fill me in on ur results of how ur BWS with the 1000 grit then polish works i would appreciate it because i think its time for me to do something with the BWS, i just dont know what

Will do. I also plan to keep my BWB and BWP at OOB finish. But I still have the BWS and a second BWP to place around with. Doesn't make much sense for me to have four balls all drilled to go long although different backend reactions. I'm hoping that by taking down the BWS surface I will get a sooner and smoother reaction. I may have to take the polish off though if it's snapping more than I want too. Everything else already snaps.

its a great ball its already improved my average by 20 pins when the lanes are dry lol the thing hooks like a bitch and hits twice as hard
ive got drilling 3.2 very agressive (the middle one) (performs better on pretty oily lanes too)

that looks similar to the layout i have on my BWB...did your proshop guy have to put a weight hole in it?

Well I found out that I made too big of a jump going down to 1000, but you could tell the thing was wanting to explode with the polish I added. I'll try it back at 4000 polished and see if it covers more boards then my pearl. Can't bring myself to do it yet, but I would also like to see how my Bite reacts at OOB with polish.
