Yes it is censorship, I asked for information and you closed the thread. This may be a Hammer forum, but its mostly a bunch of uninformed peeps who think they know it all ! All I hear is how they hook the ball so much ! Bull, the guy I used to work for just went south to bowl and he said almost every shot down in the Southeast is so dry you almost have to use a white dot. I knew that by watching the videos of a lot of you. As far as you so called two handed bowlers, learn to bowl the real way, the way it was invented. That in my opinion is not bowling and I will never accept it as bowling. Well, the people on here who think they are gonna compete on the regional tour, plz let me know what tourneys you bowl in, either reg or seniors. I will look it up and I am SURE I will not see your names. It aint that easy. I have not seen one video of any of you who will have a chance to compete. One more thing, those of you who say you have 500 revs ! Dream on. No way do you turn the ball as much as Robert SMith or Tommy Jones. I saw the vids guys, your not close. You guys stay here in your little secluded dream world and I will heal up and continue to bowl and learn. Those of you who come in here and ask a question about every little damn thing about the game... GO FRICKIN BOWL thats the only way to learn this game. If most of you spent as much time on the lanes as you do here, you would already be better. Well, I have had my say and I am headed to vacation. Say what ya need to about me, I really dont care. I will bowl and be as good as most of you out here without your one sided opinions. Be flexible or you will suck !
Blue, its been a pleasure and keep up the good bowling. Slap, stay steady buddy and good luck in the future

One last thing, please remove my post about selling the 2 furys, I dont want to sell them to anyone here. Some cant even tell what hand they are drilled for , so I better not sell them here

Im honestly not even getting involved in this, how I was brought into this I have no idea, but you should look at your stats then look at mine and subtract my 20 year difference in age too and its sad mine are better, as for bowling the way it was invented, it was invented to knock all 10 pins down no matter how you do it as long as they all go down and Im not doing anything illegal Im gonna keep doing it, just have fun trying to keep up. Please grow up.

Oh, one more thing guys. I know a few of you already know this, but

Hammer is a bowling ball, not the answer to life !

You variety to score on a consistant level. Thats just an opinion from a non regional non ball reving know nothing ! Thank you for your time

its funny i find myself reading this because i was just having this conversation last night while bowling in league, i bowled in a tournament last monday night, and was amazed at how many of the young bowlers are using 2 hands or bowling without their thumb...i think that they are breeding these people without thumbs where i bowled last monday night, who cares if your scores are good...a bowling ball has holes for fingers and thumb for a reason....and shooting big scores on burnt shots are fun, but all the real stuff comes on fresh shots or tourny shots....heres to using a bowling ball correctly

My thumb and fingers are both in the ball and I probably as accurate as 90% of you if not more, I have people almost every time Im out bowling amazed at how accurate I am with that style, btw could someone answer me the question, how does the #1 amateur bowler in the world throw???

its funny Walter Ray, Pete Weber, any of the great pros and hall of famers all use 3 fingers, and not another hand...theres a reason they are as good as they are, granted im NOT the best bowler i just enjoy the game alot, i just think everyone should have someone to show them what "was" the proper way to bowl, if it works thats good for you but im just saying you wont see me trying that anytime soon

Its perfectly fine not to have them in there, its fine to be one of those people who just crank the ball thumbless down the lane and generate tons of revs. People may even come and watch you, and thats fine, each to his own.

However this weekend I had 2 people come up to me at different times asking me for pointers (one was for pointers for a mothers son) because of how smooth, consistent, and easy I threw the ball and made it look. That was a good feeling, I know my scores aren't amazing, but I have consistently bowled over my average by 40 pins (give or take) in league the last few weeks. I have become more consistent without a doubt, putting few in the channel if any during a game, and it is being noticed by myself, and for the first time others. MANY of people want to throw the smooth consistent stroker ball. While the cranking multi hand or thumbless ball may get people to watch you, that person is much like the long-drive person at the driving range. They are a good show, but not many are consistent enough to be considered good (there are exceptions).

Again, I know some people are good like that, but most people who excel in that way are playing on burnt up shots. And I don't care for people who throw the ball down in on-orthodox ways as it is annoying (they are like the happy gilmore of bowling; if I had to play with someone who golfed like Happy I would get super annoyed), but I do not insult them either.

ok u know its funny everyone is being a cry baby about ppl bashing on them...well lets see the whole 2 handed thing ur bashing on them so dont cry when u get bashed on....and jus to let u know when i was a freshman in high school i bowled 2 handed the only freshman varsity bowler with a 200+ average then a new year and coach came and forced me to bowl the "right" way and my average droped.....so if i could go back i would...but lets everyone quit crying about ppl bashing on them if there going to bash on others...

Osku Palermaa bowled 1 PBA tour tournament 2 years ago (US OPEN in NJ), and made the show and placed 2nd, that make you happier, if Belmo bowled tour more he would be right up there with the best if not the best out there right now, he placed 14th 2 weeks ago in the Masters (the hardest of the patterns). Its not about the power, Osku, Belmo and myself included can play straighter with the best of them, straight up 5 or 10 is like putting a blindfold on on these THS, too easy IMO.

i have seen walter ray use two hands before on tv a couple times. bowling with two hands is a new style and your gonna have to accept that. idle has found something that works great for him and i can't believe that someone else would put him down for that, when in reality he has a better avg then a majority of us.

Supposedly one voice can't make a difference, but I will say Thank You to Bubba and everyone else that contributed to the rise in my bowling IQ. Most of us get frustrated with the repetitious newbie questions (Part of the reason why I suggested informational stickies in another thread), and the conflicting theories cause debates that lead the current situation. But what amazes me is how few people see things the way I do. I could care less if you kick the ball down the lane, I certainly won't try it. But, you can be damn sure that if I see you're having success, I will investigating to see if anything you incorporate will help my game. I say embrace the difference of opinions. No need to dignify any ignorant comments with a response though. On that note, everyone hates Rowdy when they first get here. You eventually warm up to him.

THANK YOU BUBBA , IDLE, ROWDY, anyone who has had the marbles to post videos of themselves at the risk of being ridiculed.

What is that and who are you? That's like saying that using your right hand is better than using your left... so all you left handers go learn to be right handed like real men. It makes no sense... and that sums up your entire post.

Be sure to read the post under that as well. It covers the topic known as Censorship.

I'm going to throw this out there and whatever happens to this post happens.

People often forget that your presence on these boards is a privilege, not a right. When you register your account you agree to certain terms and conditions that release you from any rights you think you may have regarding freedom of speech, expression, press, and/or religion. Upon forfeiting those freedoms the administration of these boards is under no obligation to provide you with an explanation for any actions taken against your contributions (positive or not) or your account.

Your rights as an American, Australian, Canadian, or any other culture/country/citizen do not apply here, and nothing you do or say will change that. If you still refuse to acknowledge this and behave accordingly you have nobody to blame but yourself for any actions taken against you or your contributions while posting under the influence of self imposed ignorance.

Bubba has been more than accommodating in his efforts to keep conversations on topic, friendly, and positive. If you're offended because something you said no longer exists, it's your own fault for not being on topic, friendly, or positive. Not that I've been any shining example, but I quit posting as frequently due to polluted threads and posts filled with self righteousness, egos, misinformation (there's alot of this coming from certain posters), and the urge to address these things... but alas it's not my place. So just know that this post applies to myself as well.

So to sum this up so it can't possibly be misinterpreted...

As read on another international forum by a member of the staff...
"When this forum becomes a democracy, we'll let you know. Until then, obey the ruleset you agreed to before posting here."

Mind you, I have NO idea why this was even started or why it's going on, I just know that you're not the first person to come here angry that something they wrote is gone. I'm sure there was a fine reason for it.

And that's not personal. So I'm butting back out.

EDIT: Okay... I see what happened. I found the thread thanks to another member. And I still stand behind the things I said. The sad part is that no actions taken resulted poorly for Stampy. All you needed to do was start a PM conversation with the original poster to get what you wanted/rub their face in the ground/achieve whatever you were trying to accomplish with/at that member. I don't really think this was that big a deal, and there is more than one way to finish that conversation.

OK. Think about it this way. Pete Weber is a GREAT example. He and a few others were considered RADICALS when they entered the sport because they broke the mold and layed the groundwork for what we consider a great form today.

The two handers now DO NOT use two hands, they deliver the ball with one, the second hand is there to help them balance the ball, much like you use YOUR non bowling hand to balance yourself while walking towards the line.

Before you bash two handers, TRY IT YOURSELF! It is incredibly hard to bowl consistantly with.

And for the comments about people with the revs and speed that Stampy doubts, I'm sorry not everyone has a team of camera men and greatest quality cameras to show off. Also, WHAT DOES ANYONE HAVE TO GAIN FROM LYING TO PEOPLE ON THE INTERNET!?!??!!!? THE IDEA IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS THAT PEOPLE WOULD LIE AND POST VIDEO OF THEMSELVES BOWLING!!! Jealously is a powerful thing, no doubt.

As for the personal attacks here, this is RIDICULOUS! Seriously, I'm 16 and looking at some of your posts (the older people here...) it makes me sad to think that people like you raise children, its sad to think that people cant grow up and just live with each other's differences because this is over the internet and you dont HAVE to deal with us. The forum vets here have stuck around through thick and thin, in my entire time here, I cant remember a time where SOMEONE doesnt start something with almost the ENTIRE forum.

Now, everyone who reads this, just remember dont start things. Just because this is over the internet doesnt mean that respect doesnt need to be given to anyone else. This is a Hammer forum, but most of the other ball companies dont have a forum and the ones that do are deader than this one, so just live and let live, this is basically a public way to get help, even if the help is just go get a coach or talk to your pro shop (like in many ways it is)

All of the decent human beings using this web site as it is intended should just stay here, this will pass soon and everything will be business as usual.

Bubba, sorry for what you deal with FOR FREE. Idle, sorry for the personal attacks here.
