Would have put more, but 10 is the max limit allowed for poles. Sorry.
***I appreciate the viewings and replies, but please take the time to vote in the poll above at the beginning of this thread. If nothing is even close to YOUR choice then by all means please tell us what you would like to see make a come back.
Thanks.

I have never used any of the Hammer Balls previous to Ebonite buying the Hammer Brand name... but from what I heard, the 4D Hammers would be awesome if they made a comeback.

Only have 2 balls on that list I would even consider being the 3D or Jack Hammer.
However The Original Red Or Pink are the balls I'd like to see brought back.

i'd love to see the reapers make a comeback. i've always wanted to get my hands on one, so i'd love to see them reproduced.
but, if that never happens, i'll still have my vicious reactive pearl and my vicious attack to keep me happy :)

None of the old hammer will not work well under to day condition. The kids to day stand left and throw right. They don't need a mark, just throw at the break point, and it seem to work. The old equipment will not hook back the way they would like them to. Unless you change the cover stock and the wait blocks. Oh thats the new hammer of today.

As far as the old stuff being able to work on todays conditions, alot of the ball would work just fine--3d offsets, 4d's, reapers, 3d pearl, sledge. Just because some of these are old balls doen't mean they couldn't play on todays conditions. Sometimes some of these balls actually preform better on sport condition because of the less aggresive cover stocks

Dear gmonteleone (http://hammerbowling.com/hammertalk/member.php?u=43):
Whenever manufacturers bring a ball out of retirement they always redesign the coverstock and core dynamics so that the ball will perform the way it did back then, but on todays lane conditions. This usually means a stronger coverstock with slightly tweaked RGs. Combating today's longer lasting and slicker lane oils, while maintaining its' old familiar path to the pocket. :)

I would love to see the claw series brought back i have a claw and i've had it for about 3 months now and it's saved me in alot of bad situiations because i put alot of spin on a ball and with too much spin alot of other balls will just hook from gutter to gutter no problem

not all kids do that but yeah it is my main way of throwing a ball because the covers are so arggessive. i throw 10 and 5 alot on light oil when i have to use my red pearl hammer sanded to 800 grit. but in theory every body throws it the same way when the "kids" stand left and throw right they are actually lined up and squared up with their target board or arrow. when you stand right and throw straight up your square with your target just as the "kids" are, but with your old equipment its not going to move as much as the "kids".

Well, now that Hammer has brought back the High Rev (an update of the 3D Violet Offset) this is a moot point. But I must weigh in and say that I recently got my hands on an undrilled original 3D Violet and had it drilled up and it performs as well, or better, than all my other balls. It all depends on how and where you play the ball. I go to the 3D as my benchmark ball or when the lanes are transitioning, it is easily controlled, makes a strong move to the pocket and wipes the deck clean. I shot 731 last week in league and threw this ball for games 2 and 3 (257, 243). :D

Voted for the Spike, out of the choices given, my wife and a friend had one, like the ball. Just never got one for me. But I would love to see Blue NAIL (polished) come back.
1-Nail Earned a century award with this ball.
2-Spike Wished I would have bought one.
3-Sledgehammer Used to place 10th in State doubles a couple yrs ago. Was probably 2.5 yrs old, had my favorite ball Vicious, Nail and Blade Particle. The Sledge just carried that day.
Heck, as long as the keep making bowling balls, it doesnt matter to me.

Loved the Nasty Nail stuff.....bowled my first 600 with one. But of all the balls I have ever thrown, the Vicious Stuff was my favorite. My favorite ball is still the Vicious Reactive Pearl. It works in medium to medium heavy oil like a dream. Wish I had bought another Vicious Reactive before they did away with them.

Bring back the original Blue Hammer with a 2 inch pin. This will give bowlers with low to medium ball speeds more control.

I have a 4D HPT and aside from my Big Blue, it is the most trusted piece that I have. If my confidence is off or I just dont like the setup for some reason I pull it out. It still has the back end that I like and at some houses, it's the only ball I throw. I also like My Nasty Nail X for the dry to med-oil shot.

i still to this day throw this ball on house conditions to the 5 board and it always makes its way back to the pocket. with good pin action not as good as when it was new but that was 3 years or so ago.
never threw the others so i cant say.

i STILL HAVE MY SLEDGEHAMMER AFTER SIX YEARS AND PROBABLY 1000 GAMES DUE TO THE AMOUNT OF GAMES THIS BALL HAS LOST SOME OF THE ORIGINAL CARRY WOULD LOVE A REPLACEMENT THIS BALL STILL PLAYS THE SAME AREA OF THE LANE IT DID WHEN NEW WITH GOOD AREA TO POCKET IT JUST LEAVES A FEW MORE CORNERS DUE TO AGE IF THEY WERE TO RERELEASE THIS BALL W NO CHANGES IT WOULD STILL PLAY MOST MEDIUM CONDITIONS BETTER THAN ALOT OF THE NEW RELEASES .

I 2nd that. I would love to see the original blue pearl claw hammer. It was perfect for the dry lane conditions around where I live. You could rev it up and it wouldn't get all jumpy. If anyone has any in 16lbs. shoot me an email. I use an old pink hammer at times now, but I need something with a little more punch.
