Went down to the lanes and shot a few with a friend..

First two for me went: 188 - 171

Lanes were Really dry on the right side..so what did i do? Took out the Widow Clear! (Awesome dry lane ball tbh)

Third game ended at 265, and yes, with my Widow clear the whole game..that thing killed the pocket..and yes, i beat him the last game 265 to 256..was amusing :D

i sometimes use my bwc when my cv just is too strong (even moving all the way left) works pretty good with a pretty hard hit.

Yeah... Just ask BWB88, he'll tell you that its def a dry lane ball... Out hot his Vibe the other night..

Should have had 7 in a row, but a pocket 7-10 came, =(

I amused my buddy fooling around with my white dot last night, playing 25 to 2, and watching it react. Too bad plastics will never hit like a reactive ball.

Yep I too have used my BWC as a dry lane ball and the thing carries really well surprisingly, hits really hard.

it moves on very very dry conditions for me.

I thought the BWC didnt move at all?

It doesnt when I throw it hard at spares, but on a dry lanes slower than normal and hitting it I was moving it about 15 boards or so.

See? We learn something new every day.

Steve-You did what you had to in order to score. You improvised with a ball you thought would work. Way to go,Hoss.:D

Haha, I can swing it over 3rd arrow to about the 1st arrow and it will still make it to the pocket...

Im not doubting it, i know i can play about that same line with my spare ball. I just think its funny when people talked about how great the BWC was everyone bragged about how it never moved even if they put hand into it.

I was thinking the EXACT SAME THING... but I wasn't going to go there... and then you did... lol

well when there's oil on the lane it doesn't move hardly at all. the only time i ever use it to hook is when the lane has absolutely no oil. my friend has a crystal clear buzzsaw, that is meant for spare shots, and it hooks as much as my cherry vibe on oil. so imo the bwc goes pretty straight compared to other clear bowling balls, which i have heard that clear balls are suppose to hook a little bit more than regular plastic ones.

Interesting... I've heard the exact opposite. Would be interesting to get a solid answer.

And I'll make a guess that polyester is polyester whether it be colored or clear. And when polished should produce a straighter line.

ya there made out of the same material but some people swear that a clear ball hooks more than a colored one. i guess ill have to buy a colored one and try it out myself :D

I dont know, on a normal house shot my clear slides a lot more than my old zone spare ball did.

I can't speak for the BWC, but I have an ebonite zebra and even though it is a plastic ball, it has a weight block in it. This could be why some plastic balls hook more than others...just a thought

Some of the clear balls have weight blocks like the clear balls from lanehawk, spare tire, lane 1 clear buzzsaw, and the clear wolf.

Yea, so that ball will hook a little more than a regular plastic ball.
