Well I had league tonight. Everything was fine until the end of the second game. THEN IT HAPPENED..............the worst _______ (insert the word here) thing that could ever happen. Ok let me back track I was throwing my anger. Now the thing is i LOVE the ball. I shot a 218 the first game with it. So it was all good. I was in the 9th frame threw my No Mercy first ball and left the 2 pin then used my Anger to pick it up. Then my partner went to bowl and threw her first ball and it didnt come back so I looked on the ball return and seen that my Anger wasnt back. But when it came back thats when I saw it....... it had gotten stuck on the ball wheel or what ever its called and it had a 1/4 inch deep and about an inch wide gouge about 2/4 the way around the ball. Ok I show it to my proshop and well he said he didnt know if he could fix it. Ok now Im a little upset. Bowled my 3rd game with my No Mercy and shot 225 missed some spares but I wasnt thinking about anything but my Anger. I go talk to the proshop again and he says he will look at it tomorrow and give me a call. Now he says that if he cant fix it he will replace it. (surprising since I buy my balls online) So thats great but I know that it wont be the same. Oh well so the worst thing my be a good thing after all.

Neo, Sorry to hear about the Anger but then again it's a good thing he is replacing it. He sounds like a stand up guy for replacing it. When you get the new one , don't think it's going to be less of a ball than the one you replaced . It might just turn out to be the same or better.

At my Old pro shop, there used to be a sign, idk if it still is, but it said

"We are NOT responsible for Damages that occur to you equipment during bowling"

I feel your pain...a couple weeks ago at a center for high school league, the ball return had broken glass in it, and it was tearing up all of the balls, and they were coming back with a tar like substance all over them, plus one of my teammates had gouges around his ball (entire ball) that looked like someone decided to play connect the dots with a bevel tool

This wasnt my fault this time. Jim said that the buy who was supposed to oil the ball wheel or whatever didnt and thats why it got stuck. And its not always me. Im just the one you have to hear about cuz no one else posts on here from my house. :p Besides my BWP and NM havent goting hurt yet. (hope I didnt jinx it.):eek:

That happened to me once with my doom. Just a scrape that was easily repaired. Took about 20 minutes to get back because the ball return belt broke. When the belt broke we all heard a loud shriek like a monster or something.

Well,we all know why it wasn't oiled. He was oiling them up for leagues but there were some guys practicing,so he stopped a lane short of where they were.

well u know if the pro shop wont replace it its cuz hes not responsible for it...the ally owner is....go talk to the owner and he should replace it....thats when u yell and scream then turn around and tell him he lost ur bussiness....i gave my bowling ally so much money that when my 250 dollar lane masters the sting got he offered to a get me a new ball or b give me the money i took the money and bought the cell

This is a privately owned forum there is no such thing as freedom speech. Just like if you go to your local bowling alley and you talk to the owner like that he can akd you to leave and if you won't have the police forcible remove you. Any private business has the right to set their own policies.
