One guy just shot 268 out of the box with his Widow Pearl tonight. He left two ringing ten pins. That should have been a perfect game. :mad: I hate those ten pins. He shot 700 out the box.

i guess nobody liked my post of 253 201 256 710 w/ my bite outta the box:( lol i love this ball, hammer has a great line w/ the Widows, i wish i woulda bought the Pearl instead i let someone talk me into the NVS which is an ok ball, but nothing like my 2 hammers im throwing

Funny you said that Cobberz. My pro shop guy just talked me into a Pearl.
I guess I will see in two weeks when I hopefully will be getting it punched up!
Been shooting 650's with the anger so I am not sure if I need a new ball yet?

your getting the pearl drilled up in 2 weeks or the BITE? either way its a win win situation...i shot my 834 with my BWS in dec what did i do go and get the NVS for xmas..prolly not the best idea seeing as i was bowling great with my BWS...but now i have the bite last week i got through all 3 games with it, but sat i had to switch to my BWS in the start of the 3rd game....all in all they are both great balls

I hear you. I was averaging 220 with my solid and decided to get an anger in January and have dipped off a bit. Now I am starting to get it going again and will be getting the Widow Pearl in a couple of weeks.

Seemed like everyone in my league was getting the solid widow and only a couple have gotten the pearl. For the few that got the pearl they do not like the reaction they get. I know for my self that it is a ball that will fit into my arsenal just fine.

alot of guys are throwing the Pearl in my league and are doing well with it, i just didnt know if i would need it and i heard the NV line was really good so i went with that, i knew when the bite came out that i really wanted it and im happy with it, probably the best ball reation ive ever had, not to mention ive worked on my game harder that ever this year, and am throwing the ball very well

not to mention the bite and complete NV came out right after i got my NVS drilled out, i woulda gotten either of them instead of the NVS...thats my luck though lol

A lot of guys are going to Morich right now but before it was either the widow solid or the NV. I like the reaction that some of the guys get on there widow pearl but they seem to dislike it. Of course like you said you have been working on your game, same as me. Some of these guys just expect to average 200 because they bought a new ball. They are Not very consistant from shot to shot and they do not pick up spares as frequently as well.

Of course they are the same people that complain about the shot or the ball being the problem. Operator error is my response! lol!

you pretty much hit the nail on the head...operator error, alot of guys in my home town werent very high average bowlers til this new reactive equipment came out, and the house shot got easier, say the last 3 years, take them outta town and they cant shoot 550...i like my game 210avg consistently over 640ish recently and can go outta town and still hit my avg or better. but this is another subject that i could go on for days
