i don't know what kind of shot it was i pretty sure it wasn't the typical house shot because i had to change my line way up but lucky i bowl there a lot i and i got there a hour early and they oiled a couple extra pairs so one of the workers let me practice on the pair and i had a dollar game coupon
unfortunately alot of people were complain about me place high because they took my book average of 165 and which gave me i think 65 handicap pins so it gave me a 817 series with handicap so everyone was saying that the tournament director should bump my average to 180 which i dont seem fit.
the funny think was the guy complaining only shot five less pins over average then i did so the way i looked at if oyu are going to complain about you should of signed up for scratch since it was available plus he was the wild card for the match play and ended up beaten for second place covering me by 36 pins so he bowled way over average, but everyone said that it was ok for that because he just bowled good. so at the end he one some money plus some pots for high game because i didn't put in the pot so he got the high score
so it ended with everyone but the guy who won which was on my pair with me through all 4 games scolding the whole time through match play and after
and then the tournament director tells me i cant bowl in his sweepers anymore unless i come in at 180 because he cant risk losing his players
do you guys think thats fair even though i didn't even cash ?

Not to shabby! I myself bowled Saturday and wow. If you can imagine shooting 200,218,234 and not making the cut, well that was about it. Low to qualify was 699 and the high was 803. I got better each game but it sure was not enough! I stayed and watched a bit and the leader got knocked out the first round. I think he shot 240 and lost to a 300. Have to go big there every game...oh yeah this was a scratch tourney too so no handicap! I could have used some...

I was happy with the way I bowlled. Threw a ten pin spare away and left a 7-10 split but other than that I am happy. A couple of us drove 50 minutes out of our normal house to try something different so it was well worth the $24 to get in. Only the second time we have bowled there so I thinks that we will be going back again soon. The locals that I talked to say that it usually takes 700 or better to make the cut. Next time!!!!!
